Life Options and Opportunities

In the financial services industry there is a term, hedging, which means that one purchases in advance of a need in order to “hedge” against losses in the future – a choice now to protect possibilities in the future. Life options coaching is like that… it is purchasing coaching now that will allow you to make choices to hedge you against loss of options in the future… loss of choices, loss of meaning, loss of satisfaction and loss of making the difference you want to make.

There are key life transitions that society puts in front of us, and then there are ones life may just throw at us because we are awake and ready to accept new personal growth. Among society’s professional transitions that I coach through are: first job, professional competence; education/work my way up; the glass ceiling; from functional specialist to manager; from manager to leader; from leader to mensch; from mensch to “retirement”… I prefer the term reinvention.
